There is no way to verify an email with 100% accuracy without sending an actual email to it. That said, according to our latest tests, the bounce rate for emails that have received a “valid” status after email verification with EmailsChecker is only 0.72%. With our email checker, you can maintain an average deliverability of up to 99%.

EmailsChecker does the validation without sending an email. EmailsChecker validates emails by directly connecting to the SMTP server.

This is the list of validations the Emailschecker performs:

Valid format: First, we validate the format of the email address is correct and looks something like "[email protected]".

Gibberish Email Address We check to ensure the address doesn't look like a random email address. For example, [email protected] doesn't pass the test.

Disposable Email Address: We check if the email address has a domain name used for temporary email addresses.

Webmail Email Addresses: We verify if the email address uses a webmail like Gmail or Yahoo.

Presence of MX Records: We check if there are MX records on the domain. If there aren't, the email address can't receive emails.

Presence of SMTP Server: This check is successful if we are able to connect to the SMTP server (indicated in MX records).

SMTP Check: We test the email address and see if it bounces or not, without sending an email.

Accept-all Domain: We check if the server has a catch-all policy which accepts all the email addresses.

SpamTrap Emails: We cross check the email address in our daily building spam trap email database.

SMTP IP Address Check: This check monitors the email servers IP addresses and how it’s related to other disposable nature emails.

Disposable MX Servers Check: We check if the server is being used for temporary email addresses.

No. No one other than you has access to your data that you submit to us other than us for cleaning in bulk. Also all emails in the database will get deleted 30 days after they were uploaded. You may disable this function in your account.

We do compare the email addresses with our daily growing spamtrap list in our database. New spam trap emails are probably created every second of every day. Once a spam trap email is identified by our backend algorithms and AI based identification systems, they become an accurate source for us for any future checks.

Our subscriptions start at $10 USD a month. Depending on how many emails you need to validate, a subscription can make you save every month. Also, unused credits don’t roll over each month. You can cancel your subscription anytime.
